The biggest mistake he ever made was letting Big Tech run wild.
I don't buy this was 4D chess to drive BT into being so explicitly & insanely biased they'd expose themselves to the people are rigging elections for the Democrats but he might slip & fall his way into that.
But most people have no idea what Google alone is doing to them.
The biggest mistake he ever made was letting Big Tech run wild.
Seriously. I can't believe he's just sat back for 4 years and done absolutely nothing to even attempt to put a stop to their bullshit.
He should have set the wheels in motion to make heavily-moderated online spaces into publishers and remove their safe harbour protections. That is all it would have taken to restore free speech to the internet.
Instead he is just sitting there, letting silcon valley continuously tighten its grip on what people can and can't say. He's a total failure in this regard.
Trump not leaving twitter once parler gained momentum with the right was absolutely crazy. He's probably the only thing keeping twitter afloat. It's too late for him to leave now.
Trump has always been a 90's new york democrat, and still acts like it today. The only reason the left hates him so much is because he left the democrat plantation. They hate people who leave their tribe way more than they hate people on the right. If Trump didn't trigger the left so much, I wouldn't even care if he won or not, but now we are in this situation where we need him to win or literal communists (identity politics) are going to get a stranglehold on the federal government.
I don't know if it was 4D chess or not - rather, it was just a matter of time until Big Tech decided to squash a story. The Dems probably looked at this and shit their pants 3 weeks before election and went "Yup, censor this one. Here are reasons we can say it's bullshit, we're building our narrative around that."
Of course it was bound to be closer to the election. If they did it six months ago, there'd be a ton of time to legally castrate them for breaking the law. Not as much time now. But they had to know the Streisand Effect was gonna make it ten times the news it was before, so it really doesn't make sense.
But I'll bet good money Trump's got plenty more stuff waiting to come out. I don't like that politicking much, waiting to release stuff, but at this point I don't care too much about it as long as it's not illegal and I don't believe it is.
This Is Trump's America

He won't even leave Twitter!
Imagine if Trump tweeted tomorrow "This is my final tweet- I will be leaving Twitter & Facebook and only posting on Parler & Minds from now on."
Seriously.
He could pull the entire journosphere onto another platform in a matter of hours. But he does nothing.

Trump's biggest problem he's not very effective. Or really playing 4D chess.
But Trump's Hitler powers supposedly ruined moviebob's holidays...
Trump is surprisingly effective with the entire US government trying to stop him.
True.
Donald J. Trump, a dictator so terrifying that quite literally no one is afraid to speak against him.
And the tech companies based on his country feel no fear actively campaigning for his opponent & silencing media making his opponent look bad.
He was too scared about what it would do to the markets.
The US markets have far more powerful companies that fucking Twitter.
