Hard to say. Some works may feel timeless because we're so far removed from their original political critique.
That being said, I feel like we're in a era of extra special low effort, due to the Internet and other rapidly multiplying means of getting things made cheaply.
Modern day "art" has me wondering how subtle older works were with tackling political themes.
