https://archive.vn/vy4PL wweek Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler Trails Challenger Sarah Iannarone by 11 Points, According to DHM Poll All Portland-area city and county measures are expected to pass. By Rachel Monahan |
Wheeler polled at 30% to Iannarone's 41%, with the remaining 29% of surveyed voters split between writing in a candidate (16%) or remaining undecided (13%). It's an especially notable result given that the poll was not conducted by either campaign, though PBA is supporting the mayor. (The poll has a four percentage point margin of error.)
Sarah Iannarone:
...indiscriminate weapons of war...
Portland needs a unifier who understands that if we spent more energy solving the underlying issues of institutional racism, lack of accountability, ...
...why she calls herself “the antifa mayor.”
Americans want to live without fear...
But what are you going to do in Portland to straighten things out?
I’m going to demand equal enforcement of the law...
...asking if Iannarone condemned the shooter who killed the Trump supporter in Portland last week.
Listen, all violence is wrong no matter who does it...
But Ted Wheeler is not a fascist and you’re running him out of town and you’re destroying all these businesses that aren’t run by fascists so why are you committing all the violence or why are your bands of supporters committing violence?
These people, I don’t control these people. They don’t answer to me.

Portland needs a unifier who understands that if we spent more energy solving the underlying issues of institutional racism, lack of accountability, and displacement than we are on brutalizing those who speak out on such issues, we would have much better outcomes.
The Mayor then enforced that ban before it was even in effect with militarized tactics and indiscriminate weapons of war. We must put an end to the practice of pitting police against everyday Portlanders who simply seek justice.

Watters began the interview by asking if Iannarone condemned the shooter who killed the Trump supporter in Portland last week.
“Listen, all violence is wrong no matter who does it,” she responded.
If Inslee wins I will likely make concrete plans to leave Washington. Not as quickly as you but in the next couple years.
In a sense Seattle becoming Detroit 2.0 would be a good thing for the rest of Washington, as a lot of the far-leftists who moved up here from the Bay Area for the jobs and low(er) cost of living wouldn't stick around if the tech jobs dried up, which would shift the balance of power towards the conservative rural areas.
Amazon starting to post explicit work from home jobs and not renewing the lease on one of their smaller office buildings are interesting signs. Hard to say yet if they're leading indicators of a larger shift.
I think the idiot Inslee will be re-elected, no matter how nonsensical that is. He's going to keep issuing emergency measures as long as he is in office, now that he's gotten away with it for so long. There is nothing to stop him and these lefty socialists around here think it's a good idea!
It's time to go.
