Is everything not political today?
Social Justice isn't.
I mean, give them credit where credit is due.Years of saying everything is political didn't get them the power and infulence they wanted because normal people agreed that not everything was political...
So they flipped the whole, entire, narrative completely on it's head and took our own position from 2014.
Supporting Trump is political. Being anti-SJW is political. Being a Social Justice activist is NOT political. If you oppose SJWism: keep your politics out of my games.
Clever girl.
It's the usual trick where they frame your interests as "politics" and their interests as "human rights".
It's a fairly insubstantial veil over "Our rules are that you can only talk about things we agree with" but it's about all they've got...
I'm more impressed by their ability to reverse their positions at will without even thinking for a moment.
When I said that Leftism was unprincipled beyond the desire for the acquisition of power, I said it recognizing that NO leftist policy position was truly relevant because they were prepared to change positions at a moments notice. The Left decided what was leftwards simply by pointing themselves in that direction, no matter what that direction was in actual space. It's purely relative, which is a truism of something moving "leftwards".
Still, you'd think they'd get dizzy from the reversals.
I found the problem.
Do you think they noticed we weren't at war with Eastasia?
Some of them maybe.
But Jesus. These are the same kind of people who condemn Hitler in the 30's. Praise Hitler when he allies with the USSR. Then Condemns Hitler again and memory holes their alliance when he invades.
"Left" is a relative position, based solely on your current orientation. But what seems to happen with the left is that the people who are central to the left seem to spin around in a circle trying to orient themselves to a new position. Everyone else has to rotate around them, and are basically hurled off in what amounts to a "centrifugal force": "The left left me".
People feel like they were thrown from the left, because the quite literally were. It's physics.
