I also understand the argument that Hololive wants to protect their Chinese streamers, if Hololive told China to fuck off then not only are they banned from Bilibili but Hololive CN is essentially shut down and all the people who work there are likely going to have their social credit scores fucked, thus making it harder for them to find work elsewhere.
The real bad guy here is the CCP, they act like a 12 year old who refuses to accept that Santa Claus isn't real. The irony is that most of these antis use VPN's set to Taiwan to watch these videos on youtube.
