Recent Army figures show that 54 percent of female soldiers failed the new Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), which is being rolled out on a provisional basis, compared with 7 percent of men during the second quarter of 2020.
Well, I know I couldn't pass that shit, but fuck, if you're going to be in the military then you damn well need to keep your ass in shape and be able to measure up to the standards. War doesn't give a fuck if you're male or female, every bullet out there that is flying in your direction is addressed to "occupant".
One female soldier, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of damaging her career, said she attained high scores on the old test. But despite years of exercising to enhance her upper-body strength, including during periods of intense workouts on overseas deployments, she remains unable to do even a single pullup or leg tuck. “I can’t even start to flex” upward, she said.
Well, then Get Gud, n00b. There's exercises for that. Go read reddit's /r/bodyweightfitness board.
The soldier, who had a baby this year
Ahh, and there we have it. She popped out a crotch-spawn, while still enlisted and expects special treatment for it because she probably let herself go during the nine months. This shit is exactly why if they're going to have kids, they need to gtfo and go be a home-maker or find a different vocation.
Another event that could pose a challenge for women, who tend to weigh less than men, is the dead lift, meaning they may be lifting a weight that is heavier relative to their body mass.
Again, no shit. If you're going to be out there with the guys and one of them gets shot up and disabled, you need to be able to drag their ass back to cover and/or get them into a fireman carry. You don't leave your battle buddy behind, but if they can't drag them to cover, that's a problem.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for women joining up to the military if they want to, but if they're going to be there, they need to match up to the physical standards of the job, otherwise they're not a soldier - they're a liability.
