I am a 40-something attorney and mother who lives in a quiet neighborhood with a yard and a garage full of scooters and soccer balls. I often walk with my children to get ice cream and spend weekends hiking through a national park. I am not the type of person who would normally consider becoming a Satanist, but these are not normal times.
When men have a midlife crisis, they buy a sports car in a pathetic attempt to recapture their youth. I guess this is an attempt to go back to the teenage fuck-you-dad rebellious edgelord phase? I guess just LARPing as a revolutionary by pulling down the occasional Trump/Pence lawn sign and bailing out the occasional Antifa member wasn't getting her righteous rocks off anymore.

You know, I'm sure there's some of that, but I'd be willing to bet at this point that most guys just buy a sports car when they're in their late 30s/early 40s because ... they are in a financial position that they can buy a sports car in their late 30s/early 40s.
Why do I say this? Because I bought a sports car in my late 30s. Why did I do it? Because sports cars are kind of fun and I was in a financial position where I could easily afford one.
I think these "midlife crisis" accusations are mostly a combination of envy and people shaming men for enjoying themselves.

As a youth, for me at least, the determining factor was if they got two of the following:
A) A car
B) An earring
C) A blonde half their age
Lol I have 2 cars and I’m not even in my 30s yet
Well, I'm glad you have the money for two sports cars at your age. Congratulations.
