I've been maintaining a short list, in the comments of another post, of news articles pointing to Arson being the cause of the latest fires in Oregon and California. I was about to add another article to the pile when I figured this list deserves its own post. This list is specifically taken from normie sources, making them more useful in a debate than the raving YouTube videos that are circulating. If more evidence comes out, I plan to update this list.

(Strongest evidence of rioter cause so far, with fireworks being a big part of the violent rioter's arsenal. Gasoline is much cheaper and easier to come by.) https://mobile.twitter.com/MultCoSO/status/1304577271429099520?s=19 Archive: https://archive.is/XyaHw

Update 9/15
The fires around the Eugene area were likely started by telephone poles. Could not find a source definitively saying so, but multiple warnings were issued in the area. Thank you davidverner.

Update 9/17

I am ~70% sure a good chunk of these fires are the work of Antifa/BLM/Anarchists, but there's no definitive proof as of the time of this posting (only supporting evidence). The initial fire outbreak coincides with a relatively quiet night in Portland, and the majority of the communities threatened by these fires are mostly against the riots. Until the cause of all the fires is made clear, we can only speculate and make sure evidence doesn't get memory-holed.
Update: normie sources are now reporting most of the fires were downed powerlines https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/article/Latest-Crews-Prevent-fire-damage-to-famed-15571969.php
The surprising thing to me isn't that people set some of these fires but that it doesn't happen more often. A few years ago there was a fire in SoCal they thought got started because the sun hit a shard from a broken glass bottle in such a way that it acted as a magnifying glass to ignite some dry grass.
When it's that easy for a fire to start accidentally, it's a minor miracle every year some jackass doesn't go into the woods and drop a Molotov or cigarette lighter. All it takes is one person crazy enough to try, and if there's one thing we have plenty of is crazy people.
I totally agree. All that said though, these Arsons seem too many too close together for it to be random jackasses.
Its pretty amazing how many people completely ignore burn bans too. Its rampant here in Texas.
A few years ago, one of California's many fires was thought to be cause by some guy dragging chains behind his truck.
Not to mention certain people who make money from fighting forest fires who get impatient and start them themselves. It's not unknown, and by the very people supposedly so fucking big on the natural environment. But because of who it is, it's one of those things no one likes to talk about. Especially up north.
This needs to be stickied for the next two weeks.
I'm leaning more of general firebugs setting some of the fires that might have some ties with Antifa/BLM. I'm in Oregon and can tell you two of the biggest fires did start by lightning and downed utilities lines from a wind storm that pushed through the state. There are some fires that looked to be arson related but many of those haven't had any arrests tied to them yet.
Thanks for the insight. Are there any sources on the windstorm and telephone poles being the source of some of the fires? Would be good to add to the pile.
I don't have them off hand because I go through lots of different news sites when keeping track of the fires and digging those articles up is a real hassle because of how many local news and government sites are not search engine optimized. On top of that many of the pages that may have mentioned the ignition source have been updated and may have removed that information to prioritize evacuation information.
This is what I can provide at the moment for the fire east of Eugene about the fire and windstorm.
