I'd like to say rationalizing it by mocking and shaming would be one reasonable solution to getting assisting, as well talking things through to help them understand the absurdity of it all, but these aren't things we're even allowed to do anymore online; only in person. Anytime you try to address it online, for some reason it's considered 'targeted harassment' or being 'misogynist.' Which is fucking insane. Why the hell do women think they have a voice when it comes to men discussing masculinity amongst themselves? Imagine the shit-storm if I intruded on women speaking about feminine issues and told them that they're being misandrist by discussing what it means to be feminine. Alas, such is the world in 2020.
