We're in the classic mud-slinging phase of ever election cycle, where the candidates and their allies in the media ramp up the attacks on their opponent's character by throwing whatever insult they can think of from something that was said or done years ago. Often after heavily editing it and taking it out of context, if it's not outright made up. Only this time, the media is overwhelmingly in the Democrats' favor, so it's going to be a very one-sided mudfight.
Frankly, though, even if this is true, which it isn't, I honestly could not give a shit about someone's precious fee-fees getting hurt by what the president said, whether it was yesterday or ten freaking years ago. There are far more prudent issues that I want addressed RIGHT NOW, and the fact that this is what the media and Democrats have decided to be their latest scandal to shine the spotlight is fucking disgusting. But then, they need to shine the spotlight on it, because the riots sure as fuck aren't doing them any favors.
