If this reddior's idea takes traction, the violence is going to blow up fast with BLM/Antifa invading the smaller towns. (old.reddit.com)

Leftist policies are unsustainable. It is cultural entropy and the natural force of societal decay. Their inevitable failures and the accompanying violence doesn't mean they have less power. Cancel culture is the modern equivalent of breaking legs and more effective.

I don't agree that societal decay is a natural force, it is a natural force in a highly ordered society (in our case it's a natural force being over amplified). Emergent ordering is natural force in a society lacking any order. The Progressive counter-revolution is an artificial thrust to over disorder. The bounce-back to such intentional disorder is the emergence of a new order. This is added to corporatist order breakdown.

Cancel culture is not the modern equivalent, and is far less effective. Jordan Peterson is still alive. We still have no idea where Jimmy Hoffa was buried.

People are terrified of saying anything negative about BLM publicly. Cancel culture has made people accustomed to incremental self-censorship. Language is shifting out from under people at an accelerated rate, and many don't even notice. It's a cancerous meme that makes people walk willingly into the arms of big brother.

But the left has violently over-stretched. There is blowback against BLM, Transactivism, radical feminism, MeToo, and many other progressive causes. It's so bad that people did notice. It's no longer proper subversion because the Communists (as always) lost an election and threw a shit fit.

Their over-extension is off the charts. There is a timeline where this works out well, and the left is responsible for making it possible.
