If you look into the article links, Bezmenov's interviewer does apparently say that HIV is not a virus, but the "alt-right" recruitment is completely fake. All this tool has to go on is HIV not being a virus but rather an immunodeficiency caused by drugs in treatment. Literally has nothing to do with anything.
I've still never heard anyone try to challenge Bezmenov's bona fides. I don't give a shit what the interviewer believes: people can be right about one thing while wrong about another, and I don't watch the video to hear the views of the interviewer. I care about two things:
Both should be simple questions to answer. Especially question #2 now that we have the benefit of 30 years' of hindsight, but question #1 as well since the Cold War is over and a lot of those files have been declassified.
The only challenge I got was "Of course he is going to tell a fantastic tale, HE IS A RUSSIAN KGB ASSET" without actually explaining what exactly is wrong with what he said.
They also complain about him going to a right wing think tank. Obviously, a soviet defector should've run to the CPUSA instead. Or something.
