Dear god, how is CNN staying in business? Do their viewers not notice the blatant contradiction here? I don't see how they pass this stuff off as any kind of reasonable journalism.
Explains their anchors.
They don't know it.
You know that scene in Se7en, where Brad Pitt is talking to Kevin Spacey's character in the backseat of the car...
They don't know it. They really don't know it. Just like John Doe doesn't, and when Pitt's character tells him he killed innocent people, John Doe freaks the fuck out. That's what they're like. Except, John Doe was all about fucked up the seven deadly sins, once you called his murder victims innocent he lost his shit. Much more mild with the average CNN viewer (they're not quite John Doe), but just replace the seven deadly sins with intersectionality/SJWism/wokeism, and it's the same shit. You can see it with all the outlets calling that 17 year old a white supremacist - I haven't seen one iota of evidence for it, but in their whacky world, he's as guilty or more so than any of John Doe's victims.
This is a really good question! Always darkest before the dawn, blah blah blah. It's worth noting we're in the middle of some major, major political and ideological stuff. It would not shock me if CNN shrunk to nothing or closed it's doors - or ended up in someone else's hands, and changed. Or maybe they'll become even more of a laughing stock than they are now - it'll essentially be what lefties thought of FOX News in the past.
I'm more excited for the fact that there's a real opening right now for a major player that does basic fucking news. The people would be more than happy to fund that - just good 'ol normal news.
They don't do it to make money. They actually pay to be the channel on all the airports. They will continue to exist as long as AT&T exists.
