This is why you tell your people to shut the fuck up about politics and just do their jobs, especially if they're celebrities, which every career athlete is. Because if you allow them to get away with some "small" stuff at first, like wearing slogans on their uniforms or kneeling during the National Anthem as a statement, they'll start pushing for more extreme stuff that will put your business in jeopardy. All the while expecting you to keep paying them the exorbitant salary they already earn.
I'm OK with this, because this is the sort of thing that is going to destroy professional sports. People haven't been attending games for months, and now that they're starting to be able to they're not going to want to. Which means they're going to start getting used to life without watching pro sports and be less likely to tune in later or go to games.
Most of these leagues are legal cartels that have way too much power and influence and convince stupid governments to spend yours and my tax dollars to subsidize their businesses. Let them die.
Agreed. I hate professional sports as well, and I in particular hold a grudge against basketball because it was the game I hated to play the most when forced to in gym class. Sure, I'm petty, but then again, so are these overpaid assholes. And they're shills for China anyway, so fuck them even more.
I used to hate professional sports for the huge amounts of money their shit stadiums leech from the government, but now they're even worse with Chinese Communist money playing the low IQ felons like puppets. Please, let them die forever. Wanna watch basketball? Start a pickup game. Fuck these millionaire scum.

Bingo. I don't have a problem with athletes having/expressing political opinions, but keep it off the field, court, whatever. When it's game day, you're on the clock, do you job
