If you go to Andy's twitter, you can see the shooting itself. The morons rushed an armed man and he defended himself. The real question is why they thought that was a smart move....

They're like Alfie Allan's character in John Wick: they're so accustomed to being "made men" living under another's protection that they think they're invulnerable. They think that the man they're chasing down will fold, like the couple who didn't shoot and kill the lynch mob that tore down their front gate, but were still prosecuted just for presenting a facade of resistance. After months of looting, burning and general mayhem they think they've won, and that nobody would dare defend themselves.

I was reading the comments on Andy's twitter when the video was posted and one commenter said, "the third guy tried to do the smart thing and disarm the shooter when he got shot in the arm."
Which, of course, is fucking retarded. The smart thing to do would have been not to chase him, and call the police
If anyone tries to take my weapon in a hostile zone, they'll be shot. This guy clearly wasn't on a murder spree. His shots were defensive.
Trying to take the gun is the worst thing you could do to a defensive shooter. Best thing is to fuck off and call the cops, unless, of course, your ideology doesn't allow for that.
Then, the best thing to do is to just get shot and die, I guess?
Yeah, this took place moments after the same guy who is being chased shot someone in the head. It looked like a graze on the video, but I can only assume he later died. I can't find confirmation, though.
The guy who was shot in the head was also screaming at people to shoot him and trying to fight not long before. What a shame. Wasted his life.

They haven't faced consequences for their actions before, why would they now?
Well, obviously thats what they thought, you love to see it.
