Keep your doors locked at all times. If your car has an unlock-on-park feature, fucking disable it.

And for the love of God, get a gun and familiarize yourself with it at the range. I don't care how much of a "thin blue line" cop-lover you are, they can't save you from an immediate lynching from communist agitators.
