I take her point to mean "He just an innocent little boy." , because I've heard mothers say things like that before, especially if the lost child was very young, they'll say *"He didn't hate anybody, he was just full of love and happiness." * which is a completely fair way to describe a 5yr old.
It is, but with the modern day spin on it. I mean I get what the post is saying, but I guess I'm not about to demonize it as much, because I know what she means, and its a sentiment expressed by almost every mother who loses a child unexpectedly.

No one is saying the mom did anything bad. The criticism is of modern culture. And what modern day spin looks like.
