I remember someone recently joked that the left would vote for Hitler if it got Trump out of office... Well...

But is anyone really surprised that people on the left would support Hitler at this point? Their insane fanaticism that borders on zealotry to their party isn't exactly much different than those who supported his rise to power. He preached all sorts of ideals of a utopia as well -- which many people fully supported.
Well, the Nazi agenda was nearly identical to the modern dem party agenda. Nationalized/socialized everything, total media control, ubi, gun control, free college, huge tax rate. The only two differences are: 1. Dems want to kill the country while Nazis wanted to preserve theirs. 2. Instead of jews being "problematic" and wiped out, the Dems declared white people "problematic;" especially white hetero males. Plus, the whole "orange man bad, literally hitler" in one breath and then saying they'd literally vote for hitler if he ran against Trump, is just the epitome of lissencephalic logic.
There was no such thing as UBI in Germany. You were required to hold a job if your were able to. The current and best unemployment system in the world is Germany's today, and is a remnant of Nazi Germany. There companies do not do mass layoffs and instead reduce the hours, while the government makes up what was lost. This allows jobs to stay in existence instead of disappearing, which means the people get to maintain their job and self worth.
The welfare systems under Nazi Germany were typical things like food and housing subsidies. One of its key features was that it did a national charity drive, so a lot of the welfare was voluntarily given as opposed to taxed. It was setup to deal with what was a economic and social disaster of the Weimar Republic.
A lot of it was modeled after Wilhelm II's policies. In fact, the closest to what was essentially Germany's welfare systems currently exist today in the Nordic countries.
Gun controls were liberalized under Nazi Germany.
