a bunch of over-sensitive people in a gaming company in the name of diversity

Thing is this applies to the game itself. It's very casual by some historic standards because Blizzard wanted ~~more money~~ a larger audience of players which also required a far more hands on approach to "infractions" amongst those players compared to things like online Halo banter.
