As someone who followed gg at the beginning but not too closely (although I am very much for what it’s message is ) I wasn’t aware that there were ever 2 KiA. Could someone give me the cliffs notes version of what happened?
I did notice that KiA had a “whitelist” and a “blacklist” on topics to be discussed which put me off a bit.
The n word isn’t okay though. (Mostly it’s because we don’t want to be a target for MSM who can’t tell sarcasm)
Edit: I’d still listen to your mods on what’s ok/isn’t though.
They are going to do that anyways. A couple black kids went on a joy ride and now they are white supremacist terrorists. Reality is irrelevant to them.
Well I certainly can’t argue with you there. I’m just saying why the rule was implemented on .win
Wait, you can't say 'nigger' here?
We really need hosts that aren't in that shithole called America. I happen not to give a damn about what offends Americans.
What about spic, kike, wop, chink, poloc, dunder, kiwi, or hick? Can we say any of those?
That sounds like kind of a big deal to me. I'm an american, but I don't use nigger to indicate skin color. It's a label that describes a degree of unpleasant and disruptive behavior, like assaulting a person because they said nigger. I heard some time ago that english people across the pond had a similar definition, but I doubt I could find a datasource online to back that up.
Anyway, if you come to discover that we really are barred from saying the biggest NoNo Nigger-word on .win sites, would you please arrange a stickypost or something to notify users (to not get their hopes up about this place)?
Its free speech, but can be changed more restrictive within each win mods rules, akin to the culture of the win. td.win is the sitewide rules and are very short and simple. I am glad to have people seeking freedom as well for their interests as well. There is a possibility that the degeneracy of reddit may be its downfall.
