...the sad part is you could actually have some really fun mechanics with a character in a wheelchair in an fps, but the kind of dipshits who make the above kinda games wouldn't be creative or smart enough to implement them properly...
The Japanese will probably make better anime out of that than the West ever would.

drag back meritocracy, kicking and screaming if need be, and we can make some good stuff again. hell, every once in a while, even today, we'll get something decent, like top gun maverick or deadpool 3, it just doesn't happen as often as it used to...
May want to see who created some of those cartoons you loved as a kid. Lots of Japanese animators.
oh, i know the animation was outsourced to japan (and I believe korea) but based upon designed made right here in the u.s. at marvel studios no less.
