I didn't fully understand the thinking behind Joker 2
I guess the writers got pissed at who became fans of the Joker. All that bullshit in the press about "white male incel rage" and having police putting extra officers at some of the premiers and all the memes and quotes later pissed them off. So they made a faggy musical, literally raped the main character and killed him.
But why didn't the money guy put a.stop to this cinematic seppuku? Now we know.
I think partially it's because the writer and director didn't want to make a sequel anyway, but were forced to, so they stuck it to both the audience and the studio.
