There was a brief display bug years ago on old Twitter where it made it look like you had liked posts you hadn't liked, and back then this would show up on other people's timelines. There were so many nasty leftists who were frantically apologizing and swearing it was a bug and plainly terrified that their entire social circle was going to turn on them because it showed they had liked a Trump tweet. Most of those people are still alive and not in jail and they've only gotten more radicalized since then.
