Frieren is refreshing in how it just outright says "no, demons are evil and that isn't going to ever change" but it also belabors the point so long it almost makes it difficult to take seriously.
The entire El Dorado arc is just them saying that over and over and over and over, and it takes up like 1/3rd of the series currently. It keeps teasing that "ooo it might not be true!" and then it is again, every time.
That's a personal gripe not a political one, because clearly it being said that many times triggers people who need to be told it that many times +1.
