Worst of all they don't even understand the "knowledge" they're guarding. They act like they're protecting some irreplaceable holy gospel, not a hint of understanding that a single to double digit percentage of those texts are fraudulent and objectively wrong, and the rest by definition should be replicable.

Closing down any single institution is a "nothing of value was lost" moment, copies will remain of their previous work and reality doesn't give a fuck who studies it, anyone good enough can get the answers
