I got 9 more from my coop this evening. 60 on the shelf. 200 pickled. Apparently I should be selling these things.
The golden goose is no longer golden, but the eggs are still worth as much.
My wife wants chickens, I think it's because she's lived in Portland.
If I'm to rear chickens ANYWHERE near Portland, I'll be installing several automated gun turrets AND a directed energy weapon I "borrowed" from the Pentagon around the area.
If you live somewhere it's legal, do it. Especially if you have kids, they'll love helping with backyard chickens. And eggs fresh from the bird taste better than anything you can get from a grocery store.
