"American Carnage" was an incredible line from his first inauguration, blaming the generations of leadership that were seated behind him. A lot of the criticism of his 2024 run was that he'd lost that original fire.
This time his speech was twice as brutal as American Carnage. He proclaimed Biden's tenure as weak, feckless, and incompetent all but in name, as Biden sat dumbfounded just four feet away, and laid out specific policies that would destroy every initiative they took in the last four years.
Trump's still got it, he was just keeping his powder dry.
This is Trump's second term. He has seen all those tactics already and likely taken that into account. How he has is the question but he isn't foolish enough to fall for that same trick in the same way.
Kamala's entire run has shown pretty well that they aren't that well organized, they are just able to run almost entirely unopposed and unquestioned the majority of the time. The slightest pushback is enough to often unravel their entire structure, though their overwhelming power often makes it not seem that way.
