pretty much nails it on the head. No matter where your mass imported illegal immigrants come from, you are getting the bottom of the barrel and all the mold that comes with it.
A recuring argument for mass-migration in Québec is ''we must retain our demographic and economic weight in relation to Canada'' ( who are also suiciding themselves with mass-migration, but with no threat of English tongue dying-out ).
Weakening our language and culture isn't helping us resist assimilation, or protect our political power. It's causing loss of our langauge, culture, and political power / cohesion.
The opening argument I brought is the utterly-retarded conception of a ''nation'' as an economic zone with interchangeable meatbags. ''Oh we must retain 22% of meatbags of Economic Zone NA2!''
Also, the same retards who push for mass-migration, authorized the dismantling of the Montréal Stock Exchange market, moving all its activities to Toronto. Utterly devastating and humiliating for the standing of Québec as a nation even for the ''within a United Canada'' crowd.
The government had all the power and legitimacy necessary to prevent this. They chose to authorise it. I can only assume a bunch of suitcases packed with cash exchanged hands to make it happen.
the reasons might be the same, but the problems are different.
with mass illegal immigration, you are getting mostly very low quality people, which burdens the welfare system and causes crime to spike. the only jobs these people are replacing en mass our jobs that are done under the table anyway.
with a (supposedly) curated import of foreign workers like the H-1B system, you generally get higher quality people, lower rates of crime, and no burden on the welfare system, but jobs and opportunities for native above-table workers are replaced. Since our current system is also pretty bad at gauging the skill of imported workers, you also get lower quality work from them.

Noooo you don't understand! We're going to to lose to Chyna if we don't import the shitskins!

if you're referring to the H-1B issue, that is separate from mass illegal immigration and has its own issues.
It's the same excuse, we need more shitskins to do jobs white Americans can't/won't do. Explicitly supported by democrats and complicitly by gop
