it's environment-al idiocy. SoCal sucks up all of the water in the surrounding area, turning it into a giant dust bowl yet they still don't have enough water to fight fires. Public transportation is also shit so traffic is constantly congested. The surrounding environment looks dead as fuck, the air quality is shit, and everyone is depressed in some way.

One could understand thinking the world is headed to a climate disaster if they lived in SoCal, but the reality is they just live in a poorly planned shithole.
