ideals of giving to the less fortunate predate him as a person
Was it in such terminology or was it more damning in actuality? The concept of charity offered to those less fortunate has been around for a very long time and is often the veneer used to lure good-hearted people into supporting Communism, so I could see someone making the equivalence there.
"I'm rich and I enjoy making money, so I can't be a communist, however here's why Karl Marx's ideals of giving to the less fortunate predate him as a person"
Many such cases. They're the classic bourgeoise merchant who sells the rope to hang themselves. Nobody is against charity but 2 people voting for a 3rd person to give his wealth away isn't what Jesus was talking about.
Anyway I don't know if you have other examples, but Razorfist does get a lot of things wrong. When he's right he's really right and when he's wrong he's really wrong. He doesn't give a fuck and that makes him entertaining.
Any time manga/anime is brought up in a livestream he loves to point out that it was probably inspired by something in the West first. He's the kind of guy who likes weeb shit (and even lived in Japan) but also makes fun of it because that was the thing to do when he was growing up. I really enjoyed his Lincoln video but I'm not very educated on the topic, so I wouldn't have noticed what he got wrong there.
