Interestingly enough, the word "indo-european" didn't start appearing until after WWII. They used to use the word "aryan" dating all the way back to the sumerians
You could probably spend a lifetime going through the list of all the deliberate cultural engineering done under the shadow of WW2. Most of which has been bred so deep into our minds that we'd not even think to question it.
