I linked this in the other thread, but it's relevant to this thread too. Here are the 2019 numbers for recipients of H1Bs per UCIS.

Does that total include extensions?
Either way, we definitely need to clean up the system. USCIS claims to be going after people who submit multiple entries into the lottery, but that doesn't do anything for the real problem which is jobs being filled for foreigners when they could be filled by Americans.
For those who might not know, any company can submit anyone in the lottery. It's only when that name gets drawn from the lottery that the company actually has to submit the application about the role.
So Jeets are having 5+ companies enter their name in the lottery to increase their chances of being selected.
