Except the layoffs tend to not be the DEI on a lot of this companies but most of the issue comes from cost reduction, the fact that they want to force lowering wages is at least crap, the tech work-force is there and the pajeets are not good, despite what Elon thinks.
Exception exist but all those entry level pajeets are mostly underskilled and are freaking annoying to deal with. The entire "yes, yes is solved but" mentality I'm seeing while delivering the crapiest code AI can produce is not exactly what anyone should be striving for.
