keeping true to his campaign promises, Trump and musk worked with conservatives to whittle down the spending Bill and remove wasteful spending. Part of that wasteful spending included a pay raise for the very people voting on the bill.

naturally, all Democrats and 38 Republicans voted against it.

Look at the 38 Republicans who voted no. They are some of our very best. Members of the Freedom Caucus.

They voted no because Trump is asking to raise the debt ceiling by 4 trillion and adding it into this bill. This bill should be stopped.

Trump and Musk are wrong on increasing our debt ceiling.

There is no debt ceiling at all right now, so wouldn't any ceiling be better? All a ceiling really does is cause congress another fake battle to avoid shutting down anyway, before they raise it again.

Besides, isn't it going to take a few years to close the deficit and get the alternative means of raising revenue going?

Really the only way to stop the deficit is entitlements... The rest is mostly noise.
