In 3 she was REALLY powerful but lacked confidence so needed Geralt to encourage and guide her.
She was also not emotionally dead as look how she arrives back in 3, I can guarantee they lack the writing talent to convey the same emotions.
Geralt with the best armour and hairstyle I see. Bear set is incomplete but getting there.
