Within 24 hours, I have discovered that the divide between most of the dissident right and the infamous puritan conservative faction that had existed long before the emergence of the dissident right is becoming significantly more pronounced and aggressive. Said faction is frequently being referred to [cannot find term] as the "woke right".
Puritan conservatives existed for a long time and have been blamed for inflicting SEVERE damage upon the right in general that took the regressive left getting exposed to fix, and grudges with these morons are flaring up again because they are bitching about sexy women in media by flat out calling it/negatively comparing it to pornography, with said pearl clutching angering people by drawing negative parallels to the regressive left's promotion of the extremist drivel known as objectification theory.
I don't think James Lindsay was specifically talking about puritan cons with "woke right", but come to think of it some of them do fit in that box like Walsh and Sargon. Razorfist had several mini rants against them on his stream last night (even though he agrees the term is stupid) because he considers them Collectivists at heart and dangerous to the American political right. He said a lot of them are inspired by European right-wing parties and he hates attempts to fit the American political spectrum into the European paradigm. Two flavors of socialism. As for Lindsay's point of view it sounds like he simply meant anyone who applies critical theory style dialectic in service of right-wing politics, or anyone who philosophically argues for RETVRN. He's not really right-wing himself afaik.
Lmao Matt Walsh and his influence is literally one of the few keeping retards from going full liberal. It wasn't Walsh that was defending having a prostitute speak at the RNC
