The modification of Japan's constitution would have happened after the atomic bombs were dropped and Japan had already surrendered, so by that point America is not really the scrappy underdog. This just seems like a weird point to attack the U.S. on. Is the implication here that freedom of thought is somehow bad?
The implication is , that too few people know that America engaged in massive book burning despite bitching about Germany doing that and despite claiming to be "for freedom of thought and press". Why is this part of history hidden?
