This are the same guys that did the Tomb Rider remaster and that turned out good.

You mean the one where they removed the pinup posters and only rolled it back when they got huge backlash?
The fact that they rolled it back is good.
The fact that they tried is not. I love the remaster but that I just could not defend. Especially BECAUSE the remaster has had the old graphics mode also in it it's extra egregious getting rid of history basically by removing his things looked in the past.
