Someone was asking 'how is dragon age woke?' Of course they can't handle it.
Do you have to buy a game to post in its Steam forums? I really hope the answer is no.
No but there's a badge for if you own the game and not having it gets you dog piled in reports.
Oh, come on. Don't misrepresent. Having the wrong/unapproved opinion gets you dogpiled in reported.
I like the badge, personally. It's useful to see who does or does not own the game, and it's just as useful against leftist interlopers as it is against our side's anti-woke crusaders.
Sadly, it all comes down to who is in charge, and that's leftist Steam community mods. Doesn't matter if you have the badge or not, what matters is which side you're arguing for or against.
Each game's community tab can be moderated by the game developers too. So it could very well be Bioware's DEI team doing overtime to keep the narrative. However unless you're banned from ALL community tabs in one swoop there is basically no way of knowing if you got hit by Steam moderation or dev moderation AFAIK
Depends on the game imo. Some games the people on the forums don't care. Some they do.
A couple I frequent, if you're coming there without the badge and you post anything outside of some variation of "is this for me" then you're getting dog piled. The forumites figured out a while ago that less than ten percent of reports are actually enacted by a human, the rest are automatic if enough people report you. Even if the content of the report is blank.
You can thank the EU and their horseshit laws for that one by the way.
It was a rhetorical question/shibboleth; you weren't supposed to actually answer the question.
The "correct" answer was to make a snarky quip about how rightoids can't define woke.
