Xitter is still a step down from monkeys hurling shit at each other in terms of communication.
the public sphere was always a forum of monkeys flinging shit at each other, we merely have the improved chance of finding diamonds and sages spreading hidden wisdom in digital caves & mountaintops now.
I've always viewed it as third grade politics for grown ups.
