The United States chose the course of action that guaranteed the maximum amount of death with the least amount of results. Instead of refusing to back a non-NATO member, or fighting the war in earnest and quickly defeating Russia, the Biden administration decided to simply send old weapons to Ukraine, enriching our defense contractors and prolonging the war as much as possible.
the left will say it was all for nothing when they'd happily send another million people to their deaths for the sunk cost fallacy (and their stock portfolios).
End the war, take the L, de-escalate, and move on.
