Does no one remember 2017 and 2018? Repubs had control of House, Senate and Presidency, with larger margins than now. The result was Trump complaining that they stopped him. How is this time going to be any different?
For that matter, the dems may very well take control of the house, which means Nancy Pelosi or Maxine Waters may become the next Speaker.
The difference is that 2017 Trump was helming a Bush-era party. In 2024 he's had 8 years to remake it.
