Any service member worth a damn learns to keep his calm (yes, his) in dangerous or hostile situations, so that he can think, reason, and logistically prepare to dispatch any potential threats and safely exit with himself and his unit alive and as unharmed as reasonably possible.
Talking to faggot jewish media representatives in a comfy studio while focusing on 1) not losing current potential voters, and 2) adding new potential voters; is nowhere near as difficult or nerve-wrecking as trying to reason with armed insurgents screaming "dirka-dirka muhammad jihad" while using women and children as human shields and hostages.
