Let's hold up here: The Wall Street Journal's anonymous sources say that Musk has been in contact with Putin for two years.

I know that's good enough for me!

But there's more. By the last paragraph of the article, the facts have been downgraded from Musk discussing geopolitics with Putin to Musk talking to a lesser official about nothing stated in particular.
