Henry Cavil is a talented and reasonably based actor. But holy fuck, he needs to fire the shit out of whoever his agent is. He keeps getting offerred nothing but shit sandwiches.

Behold as the truth suddenly makes other things a lot more understandable: His agent is the ex-wife of The Rock.

That's why he cameoed in Black Adam before being canned as Superman, because while she is The Rock's ex-wife she's also still his agent too. It was a setup from the start.
