argument that it should have been filed in California, where the Armentas live, instead of Delaware, where Deadspin’s former parent company, G/O Media, is incorporated

I have a feeling had that happened the argument would instead be that it should have been filed where the company was, as is the actual case. This is desperation tactics and grasping for any straws possibly while simultaneously trying to conjure up said straws in the first place.
