There's a lot of bots in the West trying to downplay the risk of China, keep people's attention elsewhere when they are a risk.
At the same time, there's TOO much evidence that China's internal corruption has hollowed out their capabilities. Give you an example, one of the things they show off for their military prowess is a sniper rifle that shoots grenades. The scope punches the user in the eye when you shoot and why would you have a sniper rifle to shoot grenades when you can have a machine gun do it and for more range you can angle it into a mortar. UNLESS, you can't supply the amount grenades to have multiple grenade machine guns.
China is a glass cannon, from it's infrastructure, military and economy. Doesn't mean they can't do a lot of damage to us before they shatter though.
