You can also use your phone as a VR headset, if you have a headband-thingy. I haven't messed around with it with my newer, fancier phone, but got...decent 3D/VR results with my old phone. So something to keep in mind if you don't have any other 3D solutions on hand. Phone holders can be very cheap.
