Of course they do. It's just a term for insider jargon. A guy in this very thread was asking about my "early life" - do you think that means anything to normal people? If there's a picture of a black pharaoh and I comment "WE", the people who know, know, and the people who don't, don't.

I hate that people here will abandon truth so readily just to win a few points.
