It's funny, the Asians get away with the whole eating dogs thing because it comes from starvation by ancestors (usually due to communism) and people learned to make EVERYTHING available.
The Haitians were 'sort of' the same only they actual lived under a voodoo dictator once but most of their 'misfortune' comes from brutally killing those that knew how to run their country.
